Volunteer of the Week!

Our Volunteer of the Week, is Jynnah Abshire! Here is a little information about her:

1. How long have you been a part of or volunteering at The GreenHouse and with what programs?
I have been working her for a few months.

2. Words to live by (personal qoute or advice for living the good life)
Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become your character, and watch your character for it becomes your destiny.

3. In a nutshell, describe your career path since high school.
My career path is to become a successful special education preschool teacher with a major in psychology.

4. What made you decide to volunteer at The GreenHouse Center?
I wanted to help out and gain work experience during my free time.

5. When you're not volunteering, what do you do? What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
I play tennis, volunteer at my sister's school and read and write when not doing homework or studying for school.

6. Describe what you do in just three words.
Help to succeed

7. What do you love about your job?
I love working with the kids and getting to see how it helps them succeed a little more each day.

8. In three sentences or less, convince someone that The GreenHouse is a great place to volunteer.
The GreenHouse is a great place to volunteer because you get to lend a hand in helping kids reach their highest potential.

9. What do you know now that you wish you knew when you were younger?
I wish I knew programs like The GreenHouse existed.

Thanks Jynnah for all the extra help you give us before Evergreen starts! We appreciate it!
